HLN offering coverage of Murray trial

Because the legal teams active in the Conrad Murray wrongful death trial start to dig through the grisly particulars of Michael Jackson's dying, HLN is giving the trial the Casey Anthony treatment.HLN has guaranteed "gavel-to-gavel" coverage from the trial, which started last Tuesday and it is likely to take 4 to 6 days before a verdict is made. And HLN isn't the only outlet benefiting around the trial: Fox Television Stations produced a smartphone/tablet application that streams live coverage from the O&O KTTV in La -- a course that outpaced the rest of the compensated news applications within the Apple store within 24 hrs of their launch. The main broadcast nets are providing live streaming from the trial on the websites. Another news cablers appear to possess ceded the territory to HLN for the time being. One MSNBCer states they are "certainly not going permanent by using it,Inch and HLN was the only real internet to announce comprehensive coverage plans. HLN saw a rankings spike a week ago, using its total viewer average climbing from 97,000 on Tuesday to 145,000 on Wednesday -- in comparison having a recent average of 32,000 prior to the trial started. Within the same period, CNN dropped slightly in the previous week as a whole-day audiences (122,000) while MSNBC was mostly flat (138,000) and Fox News (310,000) saw a small bump.
